Mealtimes can be stressful for families of children with ADHD and autism, as feeding challenges are common and often complex. This free one-hour webinar is designed for parents, caregivers, and family members who want to better understand the roots of feeding and eating difficulties in neurodivergent children.
Dr. Rachel Buehner, licensed psychologist and autism evaluator, and Dr. Alexandra Pruitt, licensed psychologist and feeding and eating disorders specialist, will provide insights about why feeding issues occur, how they relate to sensory differences, rigidity, attention difficulties, and emotional regulation, and what signs may indicate a need for additional support.
We’ll also introduce evidence-based treatment approaches, practical strategies to try at home, and guidance on when and how to seek professional help. Families will leave with new insights, tools to reduce mealtime stress, and hope that progress is possible.
